Decide where play belongs
Should I play a little every day to keep the offers coming?
Do not turn a suggested rhythm into a daily debt. Scott describes arranging casino time around the rest of his life. The useful lesson is to give a session a place and an endpoint. It is not evidence that a particular schedule will make a casino classify you favorably. If there is no suitable time today, skipping today is a valid decision. Your work, rest, relationships and planned activities do not owe the casino their remaining hours.
Is a short session automatically better?
Duration alone cannot answer that. A short session can still involve unaffordable spending or poor judgment. A longer session can still end before a money boundary is reached because your readiness changes. Decide the time boundary alongside the money boundary, then honor whichever reason to stop arrives first. Neither boundary is a target you must consume.
Read the person as well as the machine
What should make me reconsider continuing?
The handbook names fatigue, frustration and other changes in readiness. Hunger, urgency and difficulty concentrating deserve attention too. Notice when your reason for staying changes from an intentional choice to needing something to happen. A tired person does not become more prepared because there are points left to earn. Rest is available without making another wager.
What about boredom? The books also talk about tolerating uneventful play.
Those are different situations. Remaining emotionally steady during an uneventful result does not require starting or extending play because you are bored. Neutrality means a result does not dictate your next decision. If the session has served its purpose, or you are filling empty time by spending more, the useful move may be to leave the room and choose another part of the voyage.
Keep the rest of the voyage available
A time boundary protects more than the clock. It leaves room for a meal, a conversation, a port and tomorrow’s energy. The full books explain the routines and competing demands behind that choice. This page should leave the visitor comfortable ending a session without waiting for an exciting ending.
