SEA & SLOT SCHOOL · LESSON

RTP Is a Long Horizon

Return-to-player figures are often treated like a promise tucked inside a percentage. They are not. They describe a long-run mathematical expectation across an enormous number of outcomes. Your session is a small boat on that ocean, and the ocean does not owe your boat a representative sample.

The lesson in plain English

Use RTP as one comparison point among many. Confirm the game version, wager conditions, and rules that apply. Do not increase a bet because a published figure sounds favorable. Do not abandon a sensible limit because a short session is running below an average measured over a lifetime of play.

Deck note

Math is useful because it removes drama. It becomes dangerous when we ask it to make a promise it never made.
