SEA & SLOT SCHOOL · LESSON

Must-Hit-By, Carefully Read

A visible ceiling can feel like a lighthouse in a dark room. The light may be useful, but you still need a chart showing the shoals, the range, and the conditions for arrival. “Must hit by” language deserves careful reading because possibility and certainty can sound remarkably similar after an exciting hour.

The lesson in plain English

Confirm the qualifying wager, trigger range, reset behavior, and whether the displayed values are shared or local. Treat the range as information, never as a reason to ignore your budget. If the terms cannot be explained clearly, do not let the meter make the decision for you.

Deck note

A deadline is not the same thing as a destination. Keep your route in view.
